We will build your Grande Coastal Home anywhere within HRM. Our homes reflect quality, value, integrity and promises kept. Client care is our focus and you will see our commitment to that from the time you sit down with us to discuss what you want in a home to the final inspection of your completed home. We aim to please when you are investing in a Grande Coastal Home because we know it is probably one of the most important investments you will make in your lifetime.

Renovations / Major Additions:

As well as building new homes, we also perform renovations and/or additions you may be planning. From adding onto your existing living space to customizing your kitchen or bathrooms, we pride ourselves in leading edge results. Our focus is on providing our clients with the quality workmanship they expect, tenacious project supervision, and dedicated attention-to-detail. We deliver superior results synonymous with the Grande Coastal Home's name.

Cathie Brookfield, IDDP, ISP, Design - VP Marketing

Cathie has diverse experience in the field of Sales and Marketing development in various industry markets including over 3 years in the real-estate segment. An accredited designer, Cathie works hands-on with our team to ensure all of the decorative needs are in place for Grande Coastal model homes. In addition to this, she assists clients with their interior selections that can seem so overwhelming to many new home buyers. From electrical fixtures, to types of flooring to paint colours and trims we want our clients to know their options. Sometimes people know what they want but just aren�t sure of how to put it all together; we know that, and we help to eliminate that stress. Community involvement is important as well, Cathie knows that as Past President of both The Metro Executive Group and the Halifax NW Rotary Club.

Karel Solnicka - General Manager

Karel has been "hands-on" in the home building industry for over 34 years. He is a recognized Master Builder; R-2000 Builder and Certified Residential Building Professional. In addition to being a master craftsman, he has an excellent relationship with the Halifax construction sub-trade community who understand his commitment to quality.

Scott Brookfield - CEO

Scott is a Chartered Accountant with extensive business experience. This experience includes operating a number of diverse operations within Atlantic Canada and he was a senior partner with Deloitte & Touche in Halifax.. Scott's family operated Brookfield Construction which was the leading construction company in Halifax during the 1920's, 1930's and 1940's in the commercial and residential building sector. Community minded, Scott is presently the Chair of the Arthritis Society of Nova Scotia as well as the incoming President of the Halifax Assistance Fund.
